Salon East & Spa operates in full compliance with all Wisconsin state licensing requirements. All cosmetologists, estheticians, nail technicians, and massage therapists providing services in our salon are licensed by the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS).

Licensing verification for any service provider is available upon request.

Salon East & Spa maintains all required facility, sanitation, and safety standards as outlined by Wisconsin law.

Health and Safety

Salon East & Spa is committed to maintaining a safe, sanitary, and professional environment for all guests. Our team follows all Wisconsin DSPS health, safety, and sanitation requirements, including proper disinfection of tools, equipment, and treatment areas.

For the safety of our guests and staff, clients must disclose any relevant medical conditions, allergies, sensitivities, recent procedures, or medications that may affect their service. Failure to provide accurate information may impact results or increase the risk of adverse reactions.

Salon East & Spa reserves the right to decline or modify any service if health or safety concerns arise, including but not limited to skin irritation, open wounds, contagious conditions, or contraindications related to chemical or skincare treatments.

All services provided are cosmetic in nature and not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure medical conditions. Guests experiencing medical concerns should consult a licensed healthcare provider.

Medical Advice

Services provided at Salon East & Spa—including skincare, massage, beauty treatments, and wellness‑adjacent services—are strictly cosmetic in nature. Our staff does not diagnose, treat, or cure medical conditions, and no service or consultation should be interpreted as medical advice.

Any recommendations made by our service providers are based solely on professional cosmetic training and are intended to support general beauty and relaxation goals. They are not a substitute for medical evaluation, treatment, or guidance from a licensed healthcare professional.

Gift Cards

Wisconsin follows federal gift card laws. You must disclose:

  • No expiration under 5 years

  • No inactivity fees for 12 months

  • Non‑refundable

Photo and Media

Salon East & Spa may capture photos or short video clips within the salon environment for the purpose of showcasing our work, highlighting our team, and promoting our services across our website, social media platforms, and marketing materials.

We are committed to respecting each guest’s comfort and privacy.

  • Guests who prefer not to appear in any photos or media may inform our team prior to their appointment, and we will ensure this preference is honored.

  • Any close‑up service photos (including hair, nails, makeup, skincare, or spa treatments) will only be taken or shared with your verbal consent.

  • No identifying information—such as your full name, contact details, or personal data—will ever be published without explicit written permission.

General, non‑identifiable background imagery may be captured during normal salon operations. By receiving services at Salon East & Spa, you acknowledge that such general imagery may occur.

If at any time you wish to revoke permission for identifiable photos previously taken, please contact our team and we will make reasonable efforts to remove them from future use.
